English Speaking Doctor in Rome

natters

Does anyone know of a great English speaking doctor in Rome?  I don't have national health insurance, so affordability is also important. At this point- even non-English speaking doctors with great recommendations would be appreciated.

Thanks!

It depends on what you need, as an italian of course i know a bunch of doctors here... I could ask some friends, but you need to be more specific :)

i could possibly get you a list of english speaking doctors from the american embassy if you still need the list. and if you have the need for a specific doctor, that would be better.

Natters,
I see that this was posted a while ago, but I wanted to be of any help that I could for anyone else with the same question or concern. I recently came down with a sickness while living in Rome and I was worried about finding a reliable Doctor that could speak English. I also didn’t want to spend a fortune just for a visit. I asked a friend, who lived in Rome, what she suggested. She directed me to a private health clinic called Doctors in Italy. It is located in the center of Rome (halfway between the Spanish steps and Via del Corso) and is easy to find. I was very pleased with my visit and they treated me immediately. The staff spoke fluent English and got me an appointment in the same day I called. I highly recommend going to Doctors in Italy for anyone with a medical issue who is looking for English speaking doctors and wants a reasonable price for a visit. The consultation which was very thorough. They even directed me to the closest open pharmacy. They have general practitioners and specialists as urologist, cardiologist, gynecologist, dermatologist, etc. I hope this was helpful!
