You need to find an import agent to deal with the complex Greek importation laws  / pls look online and have a few exploratory chats before parting wit you money - doing this on your own will be a disaster

@gemmeroni Thank you for the information. can you please provide me the name of the customs broker you used in Greece. We are doing the exact same thing but cannot find a broker.

Sorry - didn't see this question until now. We were not required to have anyone sign our paperwork. It seems like a very odd requirement. However, I think this would be a good question to ask a broker as they are aware of all the current requirements. We imported our car in 2021, so there may have been changes since then.

I have a a question regarding visiting the embassy before you go to Greece from the UK

Why I have to go there and present them all this paperwork,

Before I go there which department should I book The appointment with?

I live in the UK more than 10 years I own the car 3 years on euro 4 petrol and I am Greek and I have a Greek passport And Greek Tax number(AΦΜ)

Do I get exempted from some of the duty-import Tax if I visit the Greek Embassy in the UK?(to prove I own the car more than 6 months and live in the Uk more than 3 years

On my situation Do i still have visit the embassy ?

and any of you happen to know if I convert my car to LPG (GAS) HYBRID car will I get any discounts on Tax or exemptions?

Planning to Move to Greece this December
