Problem with Customs

MacGeorge8035

Hi Everyone.

I have bought some Nicorete Sparays, which are Nicotine replacement therapy from Germany via Amazon, as they are less expensive than buying here even with shipping.  However, I have run into a problem with Cyprus Customs, who are holding onto the items and telling me they won't release them as they are seen as a restricted item.

I have contacted Customs, and I am getting no joy at all. I thought that goods bought elsewhere in the EU could be shipped without restrictions.

Has anyone any experience of this and know how I can get the items released

Hello MacGeorge8035,

Sorry to hear that.😫

I hope someone can provide some clarity on this situation soon.

All the best,

I think the EU free circulation rules do have some country specific rules. Might be worth calling CCS the shipping company and ask them if you can import this product. It might just be that customs have applied the wrong tariff code and CCS might know what to use. Maybe something is telling you to kick the habit lol
