I have a 6 bed property in Barbados that i am looking to sell this year subject to redecoration. I am considering selling the property in two parts ie top flat and bottom flat instead of one whole 6 bed property. Can anyone direct me as to what the process would be to legally seperate the 2 properties and how long this process would take. Also which govt or regional office do i approach/contact.

Any advice would be appreciated.

There are a number of real estate firms on the island. You will need to get a lawyer as well, and the real estate agent should be able to help with that. I had experience with Ron Karp, and he does both commercial and residential. The real estate people should be able to address your questions.
