I was in the same situation as you.聽 I opted to have the baby in the states to make it easier on the paperwork.聽 If you opt to have your child in Barbados, you are able to apply for U.S. citizenship because you are a citizen.聽 However, I was advised by many in Barbados to have the baby in the states to make that process easier.聽 My child is now applying for citizenship in Barbados because it is his right since his father is a natural born citizen.聽 Hope this answer helps.聽 Let me know if you have any more questions.
