Buying a car in California

Hi Guys,

Any advice on buying a car in California? Do i need a social security card?

You probably need a passport and a driver's license (at least  you will need a license to get insurance)

You'll need a Cali license to register the car also I think.

Passport and driver's license are the must (You can ask them for further information, but i believe you need to take driving test right there, rather than using license from your country)

Personally, I plan to buy a new one when I'll move there. My old car is too old and wrecked and I sold it to which helped me to get some extra money for moving. It was a good decision that my wife also supported.
