You know Nadia I'll give you a small advice, it is up to you to listen to it or to throw it in the sea, but I'm gonna say it nevertheless.

While it's good sometimes to be aware of what other people "think of us", a little bit too much of it is intoxicating and quite restricting. You don't need others to approve or even to understand your motives in order to be comfortable. You don't want to live a life created by the expectations of others. It is a lose-lose situation, since other people have contradictory opinions on how you should behave, so instead of caring a lot about what others think, you can take a break and do what makes you happy.

Do you know someone (a girl or a guy) who never cares what other people say and always does what she/he wants? Those people are happier than the rest of us and are usually admired by everyone, so let's try to be like them.

Having said that, there is absolutely nothing wrong with wanting to gather with native Arabs and learn good Arabic, even if you're married. Luckily even, being married will give you a break from those who will go out with you simply to hit on you, not because they are genuinely interested in teaching Arabic. So that gives you an advantage.

I am a native Arab and a great teacher but I am busy. Maybe if you insisted a bit I'll give you a free lesson.
