HMC COUPLE BENEFITS INQUIRY

My husband and I have been offered Grade 110 positions with HMC Qatar. We have some concerns regarding the benefits for couples working in the same department. Before we received the offer, we inquired about the benefits, and we were told that one of us could receive accommodation while the other could opt for the cash equivalent. However, we were later informed that only one of us can avail of the accommodation benefit, and that even the family travel ticket is only available to him, not me.

I pointed out that both of us are sponsored separately by HMC and that I am not under my husband's visa. It feels like I don't have any benefits of my own and that we are only receiving one set of benefits. Has anyone experienced something similar? Is it possible for my benefits to be converted into something like educational assistance?

Let me clarify in HMC if husband or wife both are on different visa the Qatar Law states that only one person is entitled for Allowances. And in different scenario if Wife or husband is under family sponsored still Qatar Law applies the same.

even who is working outside HMC organisation ( Private company) to avail the benefits a letter is mandatory that the person is not benefiting any housing allowances etc.
