billirubin levels

Hi guys. I got a job in Oman . I have gone through medical in Kerala . So the doctor telling me that my billirubin levels are high . So I just want to know that if billirubin levels are high will they unfit me ? Please reply

Dear Manu,
You cannot be unfit for Oman visa if bilirubin is high unless there is any serious Liver disease. Bilirubin level can come down by avoiding eating certain things e.g. Dairy products, spicy food etc. take one radish before breakfast, drink plenty of water. This will help bring the level down. Do a laboratory test before you go for Gamca test, because if level remains high, Gamca will ask you to do re-test, which costs considerable amount of money. Hope this helps.
