Air conditioning service read during lockdown.

Our Landlord has told us that only water and electricity are covered during this time as an emergency.聽 However, our AC in the kitchen which was serviced just before the lock down is now not working at all.聽 I am an OAP and to work in a kitchen in 90 egress and more is not good.聽 Our Landlords office will do nothing to help.聽 How are we meant to to cook in such high temperatures.聽 Please can somebody give me the name of a reliable engineer who would come and fix this problem which we believe to be the gas required to make the unit work correctly.

聽 Surely it is the landlor鈥檚 issue.聽 We pay rent and they should maintain the buildings.聽 This is in R Qurum in a big development.聽 If you can help please let me know.
I should also say we are a virus free household.

Further to this we phoned the landolrd鈥檚 office and got nowhere at all, and decided to find our own engineer.聽 He came, and was very thorough and told us how badly聽 the unit had been looked after.聽 Not serviced correctly for a start etc.聽 It cost 30 rials which we will take off our rent.
Three days later we got a phone call from the Office saying they had indeed been able to locate somebody to fix the AC. Having said it was not their responsibility!聽 We told聽 told them they were too slow and聽 too late,Having said they would phone us last week, and we had been asking for this since the lockdown.聽聽 Very disappointing treatment of good tenants, and if this was not so convenient we would move.聽 Also its expensive to move, and right now is definitely not the time.
