Driving license for housewife 2024

Hello everyone, I鈥檓 here on dependent visa under my husband for a 5 months聽 , we鈥檙e having a kid (1 year old) . I want to ask if I鈥檓 eligible to obtain a driving license here in Kuwait ? My husband is in Kuwait for the last 20 years , has driving license , bachelor degree ,work as manager and his salary is above 1000kd+. I read some topics that are saying that wife is eligible to obtain a driving license only if she has school going children. Who faced with this issue recently?

you will need to apply and see; they have daily changes in how they feel about whom to grant the luxury of a driving license. unfortunately, there is no clear-cut answer except apply for it and see. Most probably they will say you have not been in the country long enough, but do check. Ask your husband to check thru the mandoub at this place of work.
