It seems to me that there is no information in English available online. In the case of MEO, those membership conditions are in a PDF:

Meo - Condições de adesão

You can translate PDF/DOC formats into English using a Doctranslator, such as:

NOS - Condições de adesão

Vodafone

II live in portugal and personally I use MEO on a daily basis to telecommute, stream, and they have an unlimited subscription for 35€

You don't like MEO ?

chrisschubert21

I like MEO, but I get from NOS also a very good offer, and I don't know what is better, therefore I ask from a "vs." statement.

Regards.

We have Vodafone for phone TV Internet for the past 8 years and they do the job. Actually pretty good value for money.

I am with Meo for 3 years now, Their biggest problem is availability when there are technical problems. Getting through by phone can be very stressing.

I am right now waiting six days (without internet connection) for a technician to show up and check my faulty router.

Would there be a legal time limit in which they have to attend such problem.

@LeoTasnal If you already know that the router is your problem and the problem cannot be solved by loading the latest software and a restart, then you could take the faulty router to your MEO shop and ask for a replacement.

LeoTasnal

Ha ha ha,

I don't know whether my router is faulty, just an educated guess, Meo wont acknowledge., and where should I obtain the latest software without internet access?

Have you logged into your router (usually 192.168.1.1) and taken a look at what might be wrong? You might have a look at the error log. While I configure my router to my needs, I never had a longer lasting problem with Vodafone. If you really need a Meo Technician then this means waiting a long time.

I wouldn't go for Vodafone. We try to set up pour Internet/Phone/TV service with them. They agree on an installation date but then just do not show up without calling or emailing you first. When you call them you get a different answer every time. The poor people in the helpline don't have access to the information to do their job. They basically cannot even tell you when they will be able to tell you anything. They don't know which information you have already submitted. Then they ask you to submit your Portuguese citizen card (even if you are not Portuguese) or your residency permit (even if you are an EU citizen and it's your secondary residence). It's all pathetic.

Vodafone for sure, they will give you free access to HBO Max + Amazon Prime for 2 years or Disney +

Make a reclamation, livro de reclamação, online. Fill it out in english...and normally afterwards it goes fast.
