I'm an Irish national working as a registered Physiotherapist in Ireland currently, what do I need in order to work as a physio in the Netherlands? Will I need to speak Dutch?

Hi and welcome to the Forum.

You would need to register with the Dutch Government (BIG register) in order to work anywhere as a physiotherapist in the Netherlands; this will take you straight to their website where it will answer many of your questions.

To answer your specific question - yes, you will need to be able to speak Dutch (); this is the case in all EU countries, you would need to speak their mother tongue.

I hope this helps.
