Seeking migrants to interview in Budapest

GuestPoster71

Hi everyone!

I am contributing to a campaign called I Am A Migrant, which looks to highlight the stories of migrants around the world. If you are a migrant, meaning you come from another country or continent, and you are living in Budapest, I would love to hear from you. We are looking for students, workers, etc., of all ages! Please send me a message if you are interested in having your story heard.

*You do not need to provide your full name

Kind regards,
Meghan

Hi Meghan,

Welcome on board  :)

I suggest you drop an advert in the Budapest classifieds under the testimonies section so that interested members may contact you.

P.S i have moved your post from the Belgium forum where you originally posted to the Budapest forum.

All the very best,
Bhavna

Sorry but for some reason the word,"Migrant" just reminds me of a undocumented person person looking for day work outside a Home Depot store.

The term 'migrant' actually refers to all different types of people! For example, the International Organization for Migration defines a migrant as any person who is moving or has moved across an international border or within a State away from his/her habitual place of residence, regardless of (1) the person’s legal status; (2) whether the movement is voluntary or involuntary; (3) what the causes for the movement are; or (4) what the length of the stay is.

I know but in the US it means something all together different.
At least with the average Joe it does.
