Well, it really depends on what kind of thing you are looking for, but I will gladly make a few suggestions:

Restaurants: I really love the SalaThai near the Hauptbahnhof

and for Italian food Ristorante Taormina

Pubs, well, I would say that *really* depends on what kind of person you are and what you are after, for example music-wise.

Theaters: I go by what's on, and if you like you can go visit the adorable English Theater
