I don't believe you can negotiate with Airbnb; it's an online process where the price quoted is the price you will pay.

If you can figure out who an owner is and find a way to contact them then you could ask. But it is unlikely because making money is the reason people list property there. Many have purchased such places as an investment with this as their strategy. And one gives in the time of intended rental to begin with.  And virtually no apartments rented out for short terms will come without a kitchen. This can still be true of some places rented out long-term or indefinitely. Mostly a thing of the past though.

In Germany most furnished apartments rent-able for say under a year will be expensive compared to the same level of apartment unfurnished – like 3 or 4 times as expensive! Maybe not worth it for a month’s stay but if one is going for more than 3 months it can be worth it to find an empty apartment and just go to Ikea for the needed furniture even if you just throw it out or give it away at the end. The best deals for something furnished is usually what is called an in-between rental (zwischenmiete) ; someone goes away for a semester to study elsewhere or goes to do a temporary job and they want their apartment back when they return. They will often rent it out for the price of their own rent making no profit. They just want to know one is reliable and will take care of their things. One can often find rooms or apartments for a limited time on pin-boards at any German university.

I have never seen an apartment without a kitchen in Germany.

If you are just renting a room (as usually on AirBnB), then this is possible. (But desirable?)

But if you stay longer than a certain period (I think it was three months), then you must register with the local authorities. Many AirBnB hosts will not sign the required papers for this, even if legally they must. Ask before booking a place, to avoid problems!
