Drugs!

Hope this got some attention.  Anyway, don't want to get in the weeds with this.  I take prescription meds and over the counter vitamin supplements.  How picky is customs?  Should they all be in original bottles or will a daily reminder pill case be acceptable?  Thanks, in advance.

Great question.  Thanks for asking.

I usually travel with my prescription and non prescription meds I'm their original containers.  The prescription medicine will have all of the necessary info so that would save a lot of explaining if the occasion arose.  With that being said, I've never had any problems with getting my meds thru customs in Belize.  I do always put them in my carry on bag though.

Good question.  I brought my 11 meds and my 4 vitamins in the original bottles.  I also brought my daily reminder pill box....   As a happy side note, after six months living in Belize, I take ZERO meds.  None.  My numbers are all normal (even if I'm not!  LOL). Customs didn't even glance at my meds.

Thanks for the responses.  And, another reason to relocate.  Six months and you are med free!  This is great.  Does it work this way for all?

When you visit,go to evergreen pharmacy on the main drag, take your prescription bottles, and ask Catherine if she can get your meds.  Catherine caters to the °µÍø½ûÇøs and can get most things that are requested.   She charges twice what all the other purveyors charge and has more stock and more ways to get things.

there is a GNC in the mall in Chetumel that is well stocked.
