It is possible to pass to Iran from Turkmenistan, actually there is 4 borders, if you want to pass without any car or with sedan car better to use Bajgiran border, it is 10 km from Ashgabat. Only passenger cars and by walk is possible to pass from this border. If you have visa to Iran you can go to Bajgiran border by taxi from any place in Ashgabat, cost of taxi from centre of Ashgabat to Bajgiran is approximately 10 USD. If you want to pass with Euro truck better to use Artyk, Gidrolium or Sarakh border. All borders works from 09:00 to 18:00 with local time.
