English-Spanish speakers in Chiang Mai.

DerekMarshall

Hi there,

I am coming to Chiang Mai in November (for 6months) to work as a volunteer, teaching in a local primary school. I am from the UK. I have lived the past 12 years in Spain. If anyone wants to meet up, have a look around the city or create a social meet up group for native English speakers or indeed non native speakers to try the local cuisne, culture, just watch sports match or a social beer, coffee or late lunch.

We can use to remain in contact

Thanks in advance

Derek.

Hola,

Gracies adelantado.

Hi and welcome on board Derek!

Thanks for this introduction.
Please note that you can also post on the hispanophone forum if you want to interact in Spanish ;)

Fortunately, you will find, in Pai (easiest place to find people), those who speak Castillian.

The best part of Thailand is that you rarely, rarely, meet the lower Mexican Spanish problems that we have in the United States, but the Mexican Castillians do enjoy Thailand and travel there.

This is one social protection bubble to be enjoyed.
