American moving to Japan for love!!

Hi everyone,


I’m reaching out to this community because I’m considering a major life change and would love to hear from those who have been in a similar situation. I’m an American thinking about moving to Japan for the person I love. We’ve been in a long-distance relationship for a while, and it feels like the right time to take this step.

I think moving to Japan is a great idea even if you don't have a love interest. Life is most interesting when you travel and live overseas and discover new cultures and meet new people and Japan is a wonderful place to live.
