ARE WE SAFE IN MUMBAI?

Queen of the Suburbs

Just quickly post July 13 Bomb blasts...how do you feel being an °µÍø½ûÇø in Mumbai? Do you still feel safe?
I arrive in 10 days with my children and husband and am just wondering and do feel a little nervous...

I have a very humorous blog about moving to India too btw...

If you're looking for a P.C blog...it isn't! Sorry...

Dear Quinee,

I am not an °µÍø½ûÇø but a Mumbaikar. We dont feel threatened inspite of travelling in packed trains.I have no clue as to which part of city you will be staying in,but I know it will be safe for you & the school going children as you would be using your own transport.
You just need to avoid busy places teaming with people, places which you are not likely to visit in normal course.

Mumbai otherwise is very safe including the nights out with family & friends.
Dont worry. Be happy.

Mumbai is very safe if you are staying near Airport and business hub area.

What happened in Mumbai could happen any where so you should take it as destiny but having said so Mumbai is still far safe then Delhi, Kolkatta where rapes and other crimes keep happening. Do take the precautions that one should take in a new place.
