Guangzhou Living Expenses

I completed a TEFL course with the intention of going abroad to teach English to those who are learning it as a second language.

I have been offered a role in Guangzhou as a teaching assistant which pays 8783RMB per month plus all accomodation costs are also paid for. The amount is significanly lower then I earn here but how will it far will it go out there and how much tax will I have to pay?

I am in guangzhou, however just arrived a few days ago. I am not sure how far it will go. But it is a pretty good salary. I would be optimistic about this offer.

The salary is O.K. but the life here is easier.

arround6500-7000RMB after tax. Rent is always the biggest part for living, as your company provide that, you can save a lot. Besides, you can live very easily with the rest of money.
