Hi all,

I need to find a place to work (coffee shop, coworking, hotel lobby) with a good connection.

Ideally in the south east part of Mauritius.

Would anyone have recommendations ?

There's a great little cafe at Azuri in Roche Noirs that many people go to work. I cannot remember it's name, but it is right next to the Radisson Blu hotel. They make the best pain au chocolat on the island too.

The main problem isn't the network (fiber is good and when there is a problem, Mauritius-Telecom is fast to fix). The main problem is electricity. You need an inverter for the fiber box.

Second problem: the bandwidth but it's a global problem for the whole island.

In my opinion, prefer MT fiber over Emtel 5G boxes (unstable)
