Bringing two cats to Kenya

Hi there.....

I am trying to get pricing to bring my cats from Seattle to Nairobi and so far the first quote I received was $2900!!!!! I only have two cats. That seems like a crazy price. Can anyone share what they paid and who they went through? Thanks.

It is ridiculous but this is the cost ... I am bringing my dog from Rome and the cost is 2.500 ... some people fly to Tanzania with KLM and then cross the border ... that way is much much cheaper because pets can travel as excess baggage and not cargo ... check here ...
