Amazon Prime in Egypt

Is there Amazon Prime available in Egypt? Some global locations have 鈥渓ockers鈥� or specific locations that Amazon will deliver to and you can pick up items from there.

No they do not have prime over in Egypt, but all orders I have placed was delivered in a day or two Max... Only orders I madfe through Amazon USA was delivered in a couple of weeks...

So just to be clear, you鈥檝e placed orders via Amazon Egypt and receive them promptly. Are you ordering from the Amazon Egypt website? I have heard there is another site called Souq.

Fast and always, just be carful, if you order more than one item, or you received the wrong item, to call and return it at once with 48 hour, they will credit you to Amazon, so do not use credit card, use cash when you order... This way you be sure the cash will be credit on your gift card fast with in couple days, not like the credit takes more that a week or 10 days...

This is an Amazon in Egypt. It used to be called Souk. It is Amazon however it only operates companies in Egypt. Deliveries are fast and you can order and pay in cash when it comes. There is not much variety. The search engine is horrible... if you are searching for a lamp, it will give you light bulbs, electrical tape, and a host of other things that are useless. There are other services like Jumia. it is better. You can use Amazon UK and US but there will be extra shipping costs and duty.

If you plan on using the US amazon, it is advisable and significantly cheaper to get a consolidator. You can ship all your items to the consolidator, when all your packages have arrived, the consolidator will bundle them into one box and they all come at the same time. My consolidator uses FedEx so I can track my shipments and the cost of using the consolidator is less than half of what it costs to ship an item to Egypt. It usually takes 5 days to receive a package with a consolidator.

There is now Amazon Prime in Egypt but it only started around a month ago and is more restricted than in other countries. You do get free delivery or half price and same day and although the trial included Prime Video it no longer seems to so I am grateful I did not cancel my UK prime.

Souq became Amazon but ran as Souq an Amazon company until it became good enough to transform into Amazon. eg
