My wife is Egyptian ..you just need to apply for the visa for residency (based on marriage) the authority will need Egyptian marriage certificate and your wife to write a letter of undertaking. that's all its pretty simple procedure to obtain visa in such situation

Is way simpler than the US process that's for sure! Anyways I am an American married to an Egyptian. The process is the same. You just need to take your marriage certificate, a picture of you the 2x2 and ID for both of you. It's a little overwhelming so go early, I did mind last week.

who ever is Egyptian will have to right in-front of the officer/window clerk that she/he take responsibility of your stay (its actually they will dictate him/her to write what they want to write I mean format. he/she just need to sign that's all a 2 min task

Go toAlmogama3 in  Altahreer square finish papers "3 or 5 years as you like" and go back after a month , they will say 15 days but better go after a month . then they will stamp your passport with 3 or 5 years as you like

Is this correct? I emailed the Egyptian embassy in London about living ( with my Egyptian ) husband in Egypt and working there and I was told I need to get a business visa here then a work permit there

Do you have the idea of the amount for the visa fee or its free with your marriage papers and the rest of the document
