I can understand you very well - and in fact your second paragraph almost entirely applies to me as well. But I don't thing introvert is or must be antisocial. I like people around me, not crowds but friends and interesting folks. Solitude is lonely and boring - I don't like that!

I am a thinker, a listener, enjoy company of family and friends but am happy with my own company. Not antisocial but do not suffer fools.

Anathema = dislike.

I was not aware of the bands named Anathema and Introversion. Now that I've heard them, these bands are anathema to me. Get it?

My post was about the non-conformity feelings that metal/rock music espouses. Don't go with the flow just because everyone's doing it. Use your mind, even if it puts you at odds with the status quo. Strip a human to the core; you have nothing without principles.

I don't think antisocial is the word you're looking for here, unless you mean you have an utter disregard of other people's rights, or a sociopath. Asocial is the more apt term - you prefer not to seek other people's companionship.

I could be social but when I do that often , i crave being alone, I can't think or work on a project while being arround people, plus I can't easily like everyone.

Also not the type to like everyone. As you get older you learn how to civil but also be at peace with the fact that you cannot like everyone. The opposite is also true.
